PAUL KONCHESKY - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It's a coincidence that around the same time Konchesky is calling for us to get behind Roy and talking about how the fans opinion of him is unlikely to change, his ma is spouting off on facebook (real classy!). Anyway, aside from the fact that his mother is a loudmouth cockney trollop the lad keeps making the same mistake that has and will continue to cost us goals (see photo).

The pic is from when we were 2-1 down after Barton had got through from a similar position and scored. So less than 10 mins later Konchesky is offering him a free route to goal! It is also how Spurs scored their winner when Lennon went through a similar position. In fairness you'd get b0ll0cked for that in local league football.

(For ref this pic was not used to show how bad PK's defending is, it was used to illustrate how even though we were losing 2-1 with 10 mins to go, we still had 8 men back against their 4, leaving Babel & Torres to scrap for clearances against 6 men.)

I know loads of you will jump on me saying it is not the 'Liverpool way', but if his mother is posting offensive rubbish on Facebook then he deserves no respect from Liverpool fans.

Him, Christian Poulson and the bloody old clueless cretin Hodgson should be booted out of Liverpool ASAP!!

To be fair to Koncheskey mate, he cant control what his mum says on facebook. For all we know he could be absolutely fuming with her for saying that..

Cant really jump to conlusions about what Koncheskey thinks about this

The only reason she is saying that is because he has told her how "nasty" all the Liverpudlians are to him and just becuase he is utter sh!te. I guarantee you he hates scousers even more than she does, he nees to leave and soon.

was disappointed with the reaction when he was substituted. it's not his fault that he isn't good enough. the blame lies at the door of the manager who pi$$ed £4m down the drain on him in the first place. aurelio is infinitely better. a blind man could see that.

His mum didn't help.

It must be tough for him on a personal level to get the treatment he did last night, but the facts are that he is seen as "Roy's man", and is always likely to get abuse as a way of getting at Roy.

That may not be fair, however were he playing well, then nobody would be cheering his withdrawal.

He is a glaring example of the catalogue of errors from Roy, this was one being letting Insua go out on loan, and pi$$ away £4m on this average lower Prem player.

Poulsen has been sensibly withdrawn from the starting 11, and now it is the time for Konchesky to follow the same fate.  Aurelio is a much better left back, and is now clearly fit, so he should start.

That doesn't fix the problem that Konchesky represents £4m we will never get back!!

Maybe Woy can buy him back from his new unfortunate club becuase surely he must be getting the sack today.

or he could pick him for England, once we have let him go for about £3m less than we paid for him to somewhere like Blackburn!

I do feel for him though , because he didn't ask to come here , he didn't tout himself as the greatest thing since sliced bread. He did what any one of us would do , he grasped an opportunity with both hands.
It hasn't worked out for him , but let's put the blame where it really belongs.

is signing is just another testament to how clueless roy actually is.i agree with st michael as in its 4mil down the p!sser.
he will always start in favour of aurelio cos he's roys boy and that wont change as long as roy remains.

just wait till next week when roy blows more of the clubs money on his favourite striker that he so desperately wants to sign.lads and lassies may i present carlton cole.
