because he knows the club inside out. He would also command total respect from the players i have no doubt.or do you like us langushing in the bottom half of the table? This is even worse than the souness years, and i thought i would never say that but it's a fact.look at the stats

im not referring to his appointment as long term, im referring to the vision.

see, right now we've got Roy. you're suggesting bring in Kenny and after that bring in someone else younger. thats 3 managers in possibly under 2 seasons. where's the stability?

i rather see us stick with Roy till the end of the season before finding someone else to launch a long term project.

Why Dalglish??

Caretaker manager for short term is fine but there are way better managers out there and its not like we cant afford one.

We can get better than Dalglish though..

Hodgson was the choice of Hicks + Gillet, thats why we got him.

No.

Legend but out of touch with managing a premier league club.

If your going to sack hodgson there are enough candidates to fill the role.

Although many might be surprised that a person with Dalglish as his ID on here I clicked the NO option.

No one can deny that Dalglish is a legend at the club but his appointment would be a mixture of Nostagia and Desperation in my opinion.

Others have intimated that we need a long term vision and Im confident that the owners share that long term goal.

The danger is that fans react to current form and therefore ther call for Dalglish gets dragged out as some sort of Panacea for all our ills.

If we truly are building then my personal preference would be Paul Lambert (current managewr at Norwich). One of my mates is a big fan of the Canaries and Lambert has been a revelation there since taking over 18 months ago. He has taken them from the foot of Division 1 to the top of the Championship in 18 months and they play attractrive football , sell out every home game and he's attracted players who want to play for him........Plus he's Scottich ! :D

Its passed Dalglish by now surely. Ok being there as some kind of ambassador and all but not managing now. Anyways we dont want to fall out with him or sour relations and beleive me no ones beyond that if its not going well on the park so lets leave it be. Just see campaign out with Hodgson and meantime sound out other people and appoint in summer and frankly I think thats what NESV have planned.

No.

Rash decisions are not required. We knew that in the short term we were facing some bleak times.  Hopefully the board will appoint the right man in the summer and we can start to build.
