From the BBC:

Inter Milan secured their first trophy under coach Rafael Benitez with an easy victory over Congolese side TP Mazembe to win the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Although its a trophy, TP Mazembe are not the biggest team in the world are they?

Is it Rafa's fault Roy is gash? :D Getting a bit desperate now mate.

I'd imagine most managers would love to have all the money Rafa has, when he gets sacked from Inter he'll be bloody minted then he'll probably just about be able to get another fat contract from a top'ish club and get sacked from that before his career nose dives and he ends up coaching some 3rd division side in Spain.

  what bitterness... one would thing you're an evertonian...

I dedicate this victory to my family in Spain and in England to all the people who supported and trusted me at Liverpool, for whom I couldn’t win before,” said Benitez, who led Liverpool to the final in 2005.

No thank you Rafa

I ask this seriously, why exactly are you so captivated by Benitez? Have you ever met the man? I'm genuinely intrigued as to what it is exactly that has you so besotted with Rafa.

Of course you are well within your rights to like or dislike whoever you please, but you're absolutely obsessed with the man. Yeah he seems like a pretty decent guy, and he also seemed to genuinely care about the fans and club, but you carry on like he cured cancer and brought an end to world poverty.

He got us, from his first press conference to his latest one, he fought for us and exposed twit & tw@t, exposed Fergie and the refs up their holes, he won us the CL for keeps & The FA Cup, he got us the most points ever in the league, if it hadnt have been for the Gerrard saga I believe we would have won it.

He donated a lot of his pay of to various merseyside charities, and him and his wife done an awful lot behind the scenes for the local community and local charities.

His wife is a very humble woman and a lady.

I appreciate everything this man done for us, he was the best manager we had since Kenny its a shame he didnt win us the league, but he made me happy and gave us some of the best nights of our lives.

Good answer  :nod

I personally liked Benitez as well. He is a very good tactician and although I was sad to see him go, I believed it was time for a change. Replacing him with Hodgson was a catastrophic decision though.
