How many "big names" have Arsenal got? Or Manure, for that matter? No-one has a team full of big names except for Barca and Real Madrid, and even then I bet hardly anyone can name their starting 11 without looking.
The scum are using such dross as Rafael, Carrick, Fletcher, Nani, Anderson and Park. I'm pretty sure their inbred supporters will be bemoaning their quality just as much as we do ours. (Ooooh, Carrick's not fit to lace Scholes' boots, Nani isn't a patch on Ronaldo, Park couldn't trap a bag of cement - unlike Giggs, Anderson couldn't pass his handbag to Keane, etc, etc, etc.)
We're not alone in having team players and small names. The problem comes when we buy sh!te like Poulsen (who I thought would have been a reasonable player, actually - obviously not) and Konchesky (who every man and his dog could see was going to be a pile of horse pat from the word go). We sold Insua - who would only have improved - for someone who is worse, will only decline and has no re-sale value whatsoever. (Letting a couple of starlets go in the process.) Not only that, but due to his age, Insua would have counted in the "home grown" catagory, so that was not an excuse, either.
It's decisions like this which have perhaps got Nando, Stevie and Carra thinking "WTF is going on here?". That, and the fact that Roy looks more deluded every single game. I don't want to insult the bloke, as it's wrong - just like insulting Rafa is/was. But I won't pretend that he is the right bloke for the job, and the longer he is here, the worse it will get. We will hit the floor sooner or later; the plateux that no manager could go below no matter how poorly planned his strategies become with the players at his disposal. Whether that's in this division or 1 below - who knows? I will be shocked if we finish 7th or above this year. I think we're heading for 9th or below, tbh.
The players can see it, too. THAT'S why they're not responding to Roy's dated, hoofing tactics, imho.
