Terrible defense from villa. And there are people here still talking up warnock. :)

Wow 2-0, just tuned in and I see this. Is there something wrong :D? N'Gog and Babel wow who would have thought :D. Can some one tell me what has been going on for the past 20 min... and are we playing 4-4-2?

yeah.  No doubt there.  Lucas steady and impressive improvement all the time.  Lot of people on here (me included) have had to acknowledge that and see the potential for a real Liverpool stalwart for the future in Lucas.  Good pro too (attitude and never moans to the press).  As for Mereilles - just needed some games and to adapt to the Premier league.  Different class to the player we saw in August.  BUT ... Villa are pretty :censored: right now so don't expect them to boss the midfield much away from home on a Monday night anyway.

Babel lucky to get the chance (borderline offside) but a cracking strike nevertheless. Lucas brilliant again, I owe that boy an apology.

Konchesky, for all his flaws, has got a great pass on him. Just needs to get his positioning right.

this meireles/lucas partnership is starting to look very promising

They're very different from what we used to have with Mascherano and Alonso and the destroyer/midfield passer combination.

Lucas and Meireles seem to keep it very simple and tidy.

and i think i like it as well.  :)
