I appreciate the way in which this thread has more than highlighted, the beauts who have up until now been able to hide behind  the guise of being Liverpool supporters ...... thank you for the confirmation :(

See thats what I dont find remotely fucking funny
how posters expect the current manager to be credited rather than ridiculed and then in space of a few lines ...smash out on their keyboard   disparaging remarks about Benitez's weight or his eating habits ...... and then have the temerity to pretend its just light hearted banter
It works both ways for instance because of your observations I now feel the need to ridicule the buffoon we have at the helm
tit for tat and thats how it rolls lately on this forum

People make fun of Rafas weight gain or Roy looking like an owl is light hearted banter ffs. Using it as an excuse to lay into Roy Hodgson as a "baffoon" to me is taking things to far and that is where the flaming starts. Why should someone making fun of Rafa even be an excuse to start slagging of Roy Hodgson anyway?

You see now? you see how people felt when it wasn't funny when posters posted owl pictures or wrote poems slating Roy Hodgson? when you and others said ''I have a sense of humor''. No one is taking a snipe at Rafa, I'm not, I like the man, he brought a lot of great memories and he won't be forgotten for what he has done in making us #1 in Europe again. I never called him a ''muppet'' or a ''fat spanish waiter'' or any of these silly names because he deserves respect.

Oh.. and I appreciate him for being a gentleman :nod

When I was in college in the States I adopted a dog from the SPCA that was part Wolf/ part Malmute(?). The best most intellegent dog I ever saw. He got so big (70 kg ish) that I had to give him away but the kind lady I gave him to allowed me to continue taking him with me to the mountains (he used to carry the beer on a harness on his back and find the trail up to the lake :buttrock  ). That dog was truly a great dog and intellegent as feck, I was convinced that he could talk.

Has nothing to do with appreciating Rafa, but the photo reminded me.
