he took advantage of the rules... carrying over yellow cards makes no sense, he did what any other good manager (but not good man) would do... fair play to him

Sadly Dawson is right there is nowt in the rules to say what he did was wrong, but the shady whispering messages to the goalkeeper then the two sendings off for the same dopey timewasting offence - when their side where already 4 goals up and ALREADY QUALIFIED before the match had even started just comes across as so underhanded and non sportsmanlike. He may be a superb coach and a medias dream but Jose Mourinho is a man with little class and respect for the spirit of the game. His record of questionable ethics isnt exactly breaking news

Oh it was definatly in the rules of the game but not in the ethics and sportsmanship of the game . UEFA are getting the tapes and going to investigate . Hopefully they will add on a few games to each player but its highly unlikely they will have guts to do it .

erm how is it match fixing, if you start penalising that then you should also penalise teams who take the ball into the corner flag and then obstruct other players.
I think it is a bloody good tactic and if Rafa had ever thought of it, or God forbid Woy, then you'd probably all be applauding.

Id be disgusted if we were due to play them in the last 16 after that.
This sort of thing is the reason why i wouldn't ever want him at Liverpool.

Thats a ridiculous comment lad, the vast majority of us arnt glory hunting, unsportsmanlike jackas*es that want out team to win at all costs. We try to show at little thing called "class" it means that we dont want our players diving to steal penalties, rolling around on the ground like they've been hit by a missile when an opponent brushes their face with his arm or in general acting like pr*cks. Its not what football should be about fella

Ok, maybe match fixing was an incorrect way of describing it.  But he has certainly violated the rules to finish the game with a more favourable outcome.

As Burjennio said though, i want Liverpool to win with a bit of class.

The funniest bit was Ramos at the end wasting time, getting his 2nd yellow then walking over to the ref with a big smile on his face and shaking his hand  :D

Uefa have charged Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and four members of his side with improper conduct over allegations he told two of his players to get themselves sent off.

Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos were given their marching orders after earning second yellow cards for time-wasting during Real's 4-0 UEFA Champions League triumph over Ajax on Tuesday night.

Both players will consequently be banned for the final, meaningless, group game against Auxerre rather than carry yellow cards into the last 16.

The pair's actions have led to speculation they purposely sought to be dismissed as to wipe their disciplinary slates clean ahead of the knock-out stages.

Alonso and Ramos, along with Mourinho, Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek, have been charged for their role in the incident.

Dudek was seen speaking to Casillas behind the goal during the late stages of the game and he is alleged to have passed on a message from Mourinho that the duo should deliberately get themselves sent off.

Confirmed
A statement from Uefa today said: "A disciplinary case has been opened against Real Madrid CF for the improper conduct of coach Jose Mourinho and players Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek during the UEFA Champions League Group G match against AFC Ajax in Amsterdam on Tuesday."

The case will be dealt with by the Uefa Control and Disciplinary Body on Tuesday 30th November.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
