Postby Dundalk » Wed Nov 17, 2010 2:25 pm

Ive said before I couldn't give a $hit how he is doing at Inter, I have an interest in the Italian League but whether Rafa does well at Inter or fails is of no concern to me. Ive always like AC Milan and keep at eye on how they are doing so from now on I will be commenting on this in the Seria A thread....thats right isnt it??

Oh and Rafa thanks for all the good memories......   :;):

ill get this started !

Unlike the evil Hodgson, I appreciate all the great press conferences Rafa gave.. His passion was always unbelievable.. It's like he understood us fans... He was one of us !! No wonder he's not fully focused on his Inter job... His heart must still be here !

:D

I have the framed photo of him on my bedroom wall.
The one the fans carried through the streets.

I broke into Bavs house and stole it off his wall.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has "full confidence" in Rafael Benitez amid speculation the Spanish coach could be on his way out of the San Siro.

The European and Italian champions have managed only one win in five Serie A games and Sunday's 1-0 defeat to AC Milan left Inter six points behind their league-leading city rivals in the standings.

Moratti has however denied reports that he is considering a coaching change, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: "This is an invention and I've read it in the newspapers.

"We have chosen this project and it will go forward. I have full confidence in Benitez.

"That, however, does not mean that I can't be disappointed after Sunday's game, but this does not change the club thinks in any way."

Benitez replaced Jose Mourinho in the summer after the mercurial Portuguese led Inter to a treble of Champions League, Coppa Italia and Serie A prior to joining Real Madrid.

Inter face Chievo in Serie A this weekend looking to end a three-match winless run

"I am not satisfied with the results and performances of the team," he told the press as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com. "However, we have great faith and trust in Benitez. The championship is still long and I have faith. We want to win.

"But, I don't know how things will turn out."

That what Moratti said before the Milan derby... another post with plenty of Rafa Benitez appreciation !

The thing about Italian footy is they are superbly fickle. Most fans dont turn up for the games, when they do they get pi$$ed off and boo then they want to sack a perfectly good manager after a short period of time. Great way for managers to boost their bank balances.
