Rafa benitez appreciation thread - Part 2

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

The only reason that this thread is relatively quiet, and lets at least try and be honest for once, is because Inter aren't doing very well. If they were p!ssing the league and had won every game in Euope, this thread would have about 20 more pages of posts such as "Well in Rafa lad, fecking biggest mistake we ever made" etc etc etc etc. Because he's not doing that well, the tide of such posts has temporarily dried up. It's not in any way shape or form because a section of the forum has moved on.

lets be 100% honest with each other, it won't hurt just for once, it's as simple as that.

Sad bunch you lot and you wonder why theres no unity.

you've got a point there, reg. for the sake of forum unity everyone should be pining for rafa and finding reasons to belittle hodgson in every post. its obvoious when you think about it.

no, the reason why there is fighting is exactly because of the attitude you are showing here. so what if there are some forum members that didn't like rafa's management and are glad he's gone? and even more so what if they come to this obscure corner of the forum and voice that opinion? the issues come up when people begin to insist that everyone should share their point of view.

Conversely the pro Roy's make snide remarks at those against Roy in the Roy thread then come in here and spit hate?

So either folks vent your feelings here or there, is that how it works?

Reg the problem is everytime anyone says anything negative about rafa you get a nasty take the pess response. Its a rafa thread not a rafa lick his ar'se thread. Your bound to get posters for and against rafa so in future if you dont like what you hear dont reply to the post or reply with a proper reason why you dont agree not a snide comment else you will just ignite a problem that wasnt there in the first place.

I thought Rafa was alright, and I thought he did a decent job until the final year when I thought he lost the plot. I don't hate him in any way shape or form. the ONLY reason why I hope he bombs out in Italy is so that his followers have a better chance of moving on and getting over things. If he is a success, some of them will take even longer to get over it than they are already.

i think its fairly likely myself and would be a perfect outcome. leave rafa behind, leave twit and twát behind, leave roy behind, and all go skipping hand in hand towards the end of the rainbow. its gonna be boss.

Well we'll see Red. I must confess I'm not sure most of you will, but life is full of surprises so you never know.

I have to admit this forum has been prone to springing them all to regularly lately ....so like you say we shall see if the element for surprise  dwindles a touch when we get the opportunity to move on ... anyway only time will tell

Well I actually think most people have moved on........it's only the most vehement of anti rafas and the die hard prorafas that show any interest in this thread or the Inter Milan scores.

I find it laughable that certain members on this forum spend more time posting anti rafa comments in here because of results in Italy rather than discuss anything in regards to Liverpool in all the threads.

It appears to be the same 3 or 4 who, if not attempting wind ups in this thread, spend the rest of the time creaming over a manager who has no relevance to the Liverbird at all....

Newkit is certainly unique amongst Liverpool forums on that score.......

A good genuine look in the mirror would be the order of the day ... if only to ensure the halo they sport doesn't end up choking them ......

Not saying I don't come in here and enjoy the tranquility each time Inter get beat, but I do post more about actual football than anyone else on the forum I reckon.

This is a Rafa 'appreciation' thread.

If you DONT appreciate him, dont post - simple as - otherwise it becomes a WUM's snidey comment thread which isnt the idea.

I thinks thats a reasonable request.

Since when  ??? I thought it was an "updates" thread where people posted up how he's getting on, commented on whether or not he's doing well. Equally, when they were beating Spurs 4-0 it was an all hail Rafa/we were crazy to let him go thread, which was entirely understandable.

How curious that all of a sudden you should be telling people to only post here if they "appreciate" Rafa Reg, 64 pages in . Why now of all times may I ask, it wouldn't be because he's in the process of fecking it up by any chance would it ??? .

To prevent more threads being ruined by pointless bitching, I have created a thread specifically for all things Serie A and this thread can now become the Rafa Appreciation thread....
