Time to take a rain check on the bickering in the Hodgson thread.

I dont think its a good advertisement for this forum, the mindless two-way sledging between posters is tedious and quite unnecessary.

The forum exists for the enjoyment of the members not for the egotrips of the few and the intensity of the current discussion is turning away established members.

Go look at the Wigan thread in the General discussion section to see how humourous the forum used to be and also how many members have recently slipped away.

Folks, the owners have changed, the manager has changed and now OUR attitudes have got to change. We have to be more positive and move away from constant bickering.

I vote we close the thread for a week and reopen it with 6 further points in the bag and the happy-clappies are back in force.

But for góds sake stop the bickering......... :idea

and some people make more effort to complain about the state of the forum than they do actively trying to contribute positively to it. many people are enjoying the hodgson thread and i dare say some are even enjoying the bickering. why try and get it closed when its easier just not to click on it?

You might think its fun, but the missing posters are unable to contribute in the other threads being suffocated by the Hogson sledging.
