Jose mourinho. - Miracle or myth.

Ferguson did a very good job last season considering the players they lost and the injuries they had (and who else do you pick ahead of him or Wenger?). Mourinho should win it. Del Bosque may sneak it.

I think he is one of the greatest managers of all time, already up there with Paisley for me.

Close to being the worst statement i have ever heard

Why? just because you don't like the person?

He has already won 5 leagues (think only 1 with Porto) in 3 different countries and won 2 European cups with two different teams (when was the last time a team like Porto won it?)

You mightn't like him, but you are wrong to say it is ridiculous to have him up there with Paisley, you may give Paisley the edge (which is fair enough) but that is all.

Mourinho is unquestionably an all time great.

Of course Paisley is an all time great. I just say Mourinho is similar, Paisley has 6 top leagues, Mourinho has 4 if you want to discount Porto. Paisley has 3 euro cups and Mourinho has 2 already. They both took over very good teams and improved them.

Paisley is a legend , all time great, I just think Mourinho is too. The fact that you don't  like his personality doesn't matter.

Maureen will never be uttered alongside the likes of Paisley and even Ferguson and won't be because i don't like him as a person .

why? - and forget personality stuff.

He has won leagues in Portugal, 2 in england (in 3 years) and 2 in Italy in 2 years, won the CL with little Porto, won it for Inter for the first time in about 40 years and is still fairly young and will more.

He took over good teams (as did Paisley) and brought them to the next level.

Two legends with similar  achievements but opposite personalities.

You can't ignore the personalities because that is why people will remember Maureen - they don't remember the teams he managed or the players he managed or the trophies they remember his arrogance , they remember abramovich's money , they remember his antics , his disrespect of his fellow managers or players or clubs . For Paisley they remember he victories , the trophies , the class of the man , the wonderful football his teams played . Ask the majority of fans and pundits players etc which is a legend and I will be bet you Maureen will not get many votes and prob only from Chelsea fans - where as rival fans even recognise Paisley as a legend and close to being the greatest club manager ever .

fair enough.

Some of my favourite footballers (Maradonna),boxers (tyson), managers, singers, actors etc are people who I would have little interest in knowing and doubt i'd like them, I just enjoy their talent. I separate the talent from the person.

Each to their own.

Not sure,

Spain were euro champions when he took over and have an amazing team. I'm not sure he had that many tough calls to make.

That said , being an oldie, he might win it - like those old actors that get an oscar or giggs winning player of the season a year ago.

Its not because i think hes a great coach or anything and derserves to win it , but i just think that he will win it because Spain won the world cup. And like you said because hes an oldie , most prob his last chance of winning anything like this ever again, You know what that FIFA is like,
