Meanwhile back at the ranch Madrid won 6-1 last night. I think it's the first time in their history they've gone the first eleven games of a season unbeaten. It must be, because the other day it was the first time in their history they'd gone the first ten games unbeaten or some fecking thing anyway. Mind you, anybody could do exactly the same as Mourinho is doing I should think, he's just "dropped on" again the fecking lucky barstard.

so just because he hasn't lost a home game in about 8 years, and has won the euro cup with the mighty Porto and then Inter (who hadn't won it since the beatles were practicing), and just because he has won leagues in Portugal, England and Italy, and just because his net spending at Porto and Inter was extremely low people think he is not a myth.

I think he is one of the greatest managers of all time, already up there with Paisley for me.

I hate these brain teaser things. I've been looking at it all morning, and every single coach who could even slightly be considered for being the best in the World right now is in there as far as I can see. Go on, put us out of our misery.

I suppose it's all acedemic anyway isn't it as the winner is fairly obvious. It does seem a little unfair though, because although it was obviously an excellent achievement for Mourinho to win Inters first European Cup for 50 years or whatever the feck it was, winning the league over there is like falling off a log for whoever is their manager isn't it? I mean, how can anyone possibly fail?

Roy Hodgson - who has never been in the list unlike our previous manager who has been in the list on a number of occasions .

This thread is so predictable and tiresome (which is why I don't really know why I even bother opening it - much less contribute :D). Everyone knows that certain members love Mourinho to bits and never fail to mention each and every positive result, while others hate him and are quick to point at various negatives. Neither part will ever be able to convince the other though, which is why this thread will continue in circles forever and ever and ever and...

I for one would accept him as a potential future manager as he gets results, but I don't care much for him on a personal level (if he brought titles to Anfield I guess I could learn to like him :;):).

Small rant about a too black and white "debate" over, and now I'll gracefully bow out of this thread again and let the inevitable continue once Real Madrid has had a very convincing or very bad result.

Jose is a very good manager but i don't rate him as much as some do.
He's just had the right jobs at the right times.  (madrid, inter, chelsea)

And the football he plays is appauling to watch.

Hmm, there might be a reason for that you know. I'm not sure delusions of grandeur is one of the deciding factors.  :D

BTW BigMick I'm not sure it's suck a foregone conclusion that Maureen will win, it could get well be Del Bosque for leading Spain to their first ever world cup.
