Money obviously.

From Kelso:

Meanwhile lawyers for Royal Bank of Scotland and the club’s former owners Hicks and Gillett will return to the High Court on Thursday for a further hearing in front of Mr Justice Floyd.
It was described last night as a purely procedural hearing to tidy up the loose ends of the injunctions served in favour of RBS last week, but Hicks and Gillett may seek to use the opportunity to institute proceedings for damages. They have said they will seek more than £1bn in compensation.

Hicks and Gillett’s ‘radio silence’ over £300m LFC conspiracy claims
Oct 21 2010 by Ian Hernon, Liverpool Echo

Comments (3)Recommend (1) The High Court today heard that there had been ‘radio silence’ from lawyers representing Tom Hicks and George Gillett over allegations of a conspiracy behind the sale of Liverpool FC.

Judge Christopher Floyd agreed to adjourn proceedings by the Royal Bank of Scotland over legal costs for at least 14 days.

Solicitor James Potts said that his clients RBS were still in the dark over whether Hicks and Gillett would proceed with action against them over the claims that the bank had connived with the English board members to push through the £300m deal against the former owners’ wishes.

He said: “We have no idea whether these allegations are being followed up. There has been radio silence over what their position is"
