Since this has been the story in all our games this season it looks like its what Roy wants. Longball up to a totally isolated Torres that gets kicked down. He looks :censored: off.

So, no change since Benitez then...

:p

If you cant see the difference you are blind.

main difference is Torres shouldnt be on the pitch, hes awful today, no runing into space, no looking for the ball...

Main difference is that the rest of the team is so far behind he has no support. But yes he isnt doing much.

Yeah...so, no change since Benitez then...

really? that is strange because Torres became the fastest liverpool player to score 50 goals... now he is struggling under Roy... I wonder why...

becasue hes injured?

Injury or not, you have to have the ball at your feet to kick the ball at the net. It took 15 minutes before Torres had a decent touch of the ball. Whenever we collect it from the back, the ball goes square, back, square, back, then hoof and rinse and repeat. Playing with four CM's that don't deviate more than 15 yards from the back four might be - now I'm just guessing here - might be part of the cause for this. Slow build up, and world class overlaps from Konchesky certainly don't contribute either. Result - Torres sits scratching his balls up top on his own.

Get him out to f*ck before he runs this team so deep into the bottom half of the table that we won't see the light of the top four for at least a few seasons.

We had two or so counter attacks and the furthest anyone got up the pitch was half way between the half way line and the box apart from Torres!

I have never seen a manager set a team out with so much caution and fear as Roy does.

People saying take Torres off??Clueless....he has had no supply because no one is allowed to get up near him incase we get hit on the counter!

Roy looses this today he should do the decent thing and admit the job is to big for him and just resign!

Both Lucas and Poulsen are cr@p.. Their best 2 chances were because of Lucas. .. And yeah the tactics of sitting deep is not what big teams do  ???

right, lucas got lost for the go, looked like he was in come dancing, Torres is holding back, we lack confidence wil our midfield set up so we are playing to many long balls, cole is looking for the ball in the wrong areas and needs to sort it out.

Roy dont have a team on the bench that can change the game that much ...ok thats not his fault but give it a few mins of the 2nd and he will need to get lucas off.

People who are blaming Torres are I'm sorry to say clueless... because the reality is that Roy is using Torres all wrong... Torres is not a target man but Roy is using him as a target man... Torres is not feckin Heskey... the distance between our midfielders and torres is too big that it's really pathetic to watch... How can he not see this obvious mistake and not fix it? It's simple... it's his football philosophy...  :no

The team doesn't look like a team, they look like individuals kicking about the football, who's fault is that? the buck has to stop with the manager who trains the team and sets up the team. You have to wonder whether the players themselves believe in Roy or not because they don't seem to have any clear direction on how to play...

That won't happen because Roy doesn't like classy CB's like Agger running with the ball at his feet and spray forward passes about whist going on runs to support the attack. Nope, he's left that job to the obviously far better Konschesky who's keeping him out of the squad. Honestly, you couldn't f*cking make it up.

:censored: hell mate, torres can not always just styand there wishing the ball comes to his feet, for one he got to try and win the ball if its a bit short, 2, he needs to start getting in the right place for someone to pass it to him, 3, he lost his pace and finding hard to get shot of his marker.
