i get it text to me usually the day before.

Never usually 2 days but the texts havent been wrong yet - apart from city away when apparantly mascherano was in then wouldnt play.

It will be the team Daws, mark my words...barring injuries over the next day or so.

I actually agree with Benny on this and mick i know you are behind the manager and Benny isnt but he is ok to make a comment on a line up before the game.
I am not one bit happy that Meireles appears to be on the right again.
Personally i would agree that Johnson on the right would be the best option.
I would have Kelly at right back to give the team another player that can defend set pieces as the blues will definitely use them to their advantage.
Meireles and Lucas in the middle with the other positions how Roy has them.
ALthough the greek will consider himself unlucky not to be in for Skrtel.

It's blatantly obvious he is wasted out right and should be given the chance to play in his proper position or it's just a waste of his talent

It'd be a great place to get started, to win against Everton. Obviously the focus has been off the team to some extent this week, but far from being a viable excuse I actually think that might be a bit of a bonus for the manager and players. At leas tthey can just get on with it, out of the spotlight.

Obviously the Benny's of this World still have their agenda, but most people will be hoping we can press on from here and crown what promises to be a great week with a win.

Well we've got to start winning at some point otherwise we're fecked. It's still early, but it's beyond the "but it's only game X" point and we are now moving into the "now the teams are starting to sort themselves out" stage.

We've been very unlucky to have so many tough games on top of each other (it's probably the toughest start ANY team has ever had I think), but we've still got to get going soon unless we want to be competing for an outside chance at a Europa League cup spot.

Yup its been a tough start without a doubt and its upto roy and the players to turn it around. With the off field fiasco almost comming to a close im hoping players and manager could completely focus on the footy now and give it their all!!

If we get a good number of wins under our belt before the winter window then who knows maybe a better finish (then what we expect atm) is possible..

mick i agree about winning at some point and i actually agree about bennys usual stance on things.
However, based on the line up that appears to be the likely team (as thats all we can realistically discuss IN THIS THREAD) are you happy ?
I will give Roy a chance but if that is the team and tactics then there is no defence.
I am happy to say that as early as this. As before THIS game all's i or Benny can offer is an opinion on the team selection and how it will/would fare.
If he (benny) or i feel its wrong then it needs saying now.

If that's the side an they perform then myself and Benny are wrong.  Then i will be ok with admitting it.

Agree with what everyones saying, and maybe that will be the team, but lets wait and see. We need to win this one. And we need to put out the right formation and have the players actually giving a cr@p
