Its amazing how people have so much love for a guy who has never been associated with the club yet so much hatred for a guy who helped us win the European Cup .

What do you mean "love"? It's the Mourinho thread, if you wish to slag him off in here go for it, but by the same token if people wish to wonder whether or not they'll overcome Barca suely they're entitled to do so without any silliness from you.

Could a ref yellow card the starting XI for this?  Would be pretty funny :D

same people who have shown little or no interest in the takeover thread  :;):

I've read various articles in the respected papers, I just don't think the average fan on this forum has much to educate me on in relation to finance issues. The majority here are football fans but I doubt they could hold a discussion about hedging or corporate law. Therefore, I don't see the point in me spending time reading their views about a hedge fund "guru" buying the club or the legal issues in the boardroom.

However, football and football management is something everyone can talk about.

Lord Sugars view from BBC online

Sugar strolled onto the sofa halfway through the show and immediately started producing the goods. First, it was Spurs and then it was Jose Mourinho. Just before we went on air, I told Lord Sugar over a chocolate croissant that we had an interview with Mourinho on the show and he said: "Make sure you ask me about him... I've got something to say."

When I asked him whether he was a fan of the 'Special One' he replied: "'Special One'? Get him down to Leyton Orient and we'll see how special he really is!"

Who has ever said they want Rafa to be more successful than Hodgson ? Any proof of this or just wild suggestions as per usual .

Once again Daws its statements with no backing - im pretty sure every single person on here wants Hodgson to do well because that means Liverpool does well and thats what we all want - no one wants him to fail . As for Rafa yes people do want him to succeed - him succeeding does not effect us in any way but people still have a connection to him and i would ask why would anyone want him to fail - only reason i can see is to say they were right about him going ..

I dont really care if he fails or not. I think he left us a season too late and i think he mucked our team up. I just dont get the way everyone on here stilll lvoes him sooo much... hes gone, move on.

and yeah, actually thinking about it, it would be funny if he mucked up the one job in world football even Carlton Palmer could lead to a league win
