Serious for a moment - the newspapers over the weekend were VERY uncomplimentary towards all Woys buys so far. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd want to give him 22 million to spend.

arda turan is an absolute must, young world class attacking player who can make and score goals and is a leader on the pitch with experience beyond his years and he is passionate about playing for liverpool, would be an instant hero like torres was and have an equally impressive impact, im not sure but i think 15million would be enough to get him give or take

what do you guys think of Shawcross? reckon Agger and Skrtel should be given a chance to forge a partnership with Kyrgiakos as back up or on a rotational basis. should there be someone else coming in? i do notice Agger is rather injury prone, but he is the best defender we have and i really rate Kyrgiakos as he is the best aerial player we've got by far.

i did not mention Carragher as i do not wish to see him play a big role next season. his legs are giving way unfortunately and we also have this young French starlet Mavinga in our reserves. if the rumors hold any water, do we really need Shawcross?

Every penny in the transfer pot (plus the fiver I will send Roy) on a striker. Rafa didn't buy one....Roy hasn't bought one.....

We only have one, who is either injured, sulking or both, so I would suggest we need one.

If Mr Red Sox coughs up for a "we've arrived" signing, then Aguero would do, thanks very much.

If we are still in the real world of our finances then Pavuleychenco (sp?) from Spurs would do us OK.

But seriously though, it would be great if we could sign a few players for cheap enough and turn them into stars. Like Alonso, Reina and arguably Torres.
