You get used to it.

After spending the first 10 years or so of my "proper" football supporting life watching Liverpool regularly thrash sides and win major trophies, the last 15 years have been difficult to stomach.

I gave up being impatient years ago.  :(

Ok AB name succesful clubs over the last thirty years who have retained patience with their managers even when fans were beginning to push panic buttons

Now name me succesful clubs who chop and change their managers even in the third month of the season

I've been a fan for over 7 years which is not a lot compared to the rest of you but I haven't gotten used to it yet like you just said.

Money is not always the solution to poor football on the road. Football is a team game, if the team isn't performing as a whole there will be bad results. We're lacking team effort and heart.

Were lacking confidence and the swagger of a team totally comfortable with each other and the system they play under

I think over the next month we will see us hammering teams but frustratingly losing as well but I have faith that there will be a lot more happy Saturdays than sad Saturday over the course of the season

I see you point of view about heart but the majority are trying if not for the club for their own careers but I honestly reckon its unsurity at the moment in time

Hopefully we will see the emergence of a few leaders over the next few months who will drag the team through JC has pleasently surprised me in this manner lately and then with SG returning we will have a hardcore of leaders taking us on the pitch

But as JBG has said and I well agree there are gonna be bad days ahead and we just have to keep the faith and keep calm

You make a good point about players fighting for their careers but part of playing football is fighting for the team and not just your self.

Playing as individuals will only lead to more defeats. Playing as a one will lead to wins. At Anfield we play as one force for most of the time, on the road we go our seperate ways and crash & burn. Losing is natural in football but there is a difference when you lose without giving up a fight and when you lose a game in where you fought until the end, something that Liverpool F.C. has not done.

I see your point but think that at home the team have more faith in themselves while away your in their territory and we revert to Houlllier tactics and get caught in no mans land

Nobody wants to lose but some teams have the swagger and at the mo we dont

However Alonso,Garcia and Josemi didn't play under Houllier so why is that those three don't do as well as they do at home?

The reason we lose is also the fact that we change tactics. Tactics should be kept the same for all opponents. Whether we play at home or on the road.

I think the three spanish lads are moving to Rafas tune but when weve been bad weve seen a breakdown with them and some other team mates

I agree and disagree with you about tactics as we should let them worry about us but there is a need at times to vary these between home and away

The difference between Spanish and English football is the pace of the game. Spanish football is very slow paced while English football is not. At Anfield we settle down and keep things under control with a slow pace with good passes and we win. But on the road we play with a different pace.

You can't change tactics you use at home against lets say Crystal Palace on the road. The formation changes is the most frustrating, either use 4-4-1-1 the whole season or stick to 4-4-2. How can players adapt to each other when we are constantly changing things? If we do the things we are doing right now Baros and Cisse will NEVER gell with each other.

Agree about Baros and Cisse

I know what your saying but at home youve got the crowd and your buzz is to attack plus your more settled as theres no travelling

I reckon away we will see us absorbing more pressure
