Basically I agree with Leon, we are only getting beaten by the odd goal. My concern is that when we do go behind you struggle to see where an equaliser is coming from.

Call me a traditionalist but I agree with Paul C and Fowler E7 as well, I think the team looks more balanced with 11 players in it!

As a couple of lads earlier said, cant get rid until new players come in, my choices though are:

Traore
Biscan
Diao
Finnan

Pity we hav'ent got a midweek game this week. We need to get out of this run ASAP.

On the negative side of things, Garcia & Alonso continue to be poor away from home. I'm not sure why people are raving about Josemi, IMO he's dodgy & he dives in way too much & gets skinned. Salif Diao is surely top of the list for the exit door, he offers nothing, even as a squad player. I'd rather see Potter or Welsh given a chance.

We simply are not a threat in anyway shape or form. Cisse was marginally better today, but Owen is sadly missed. Baros just isn't gonna score a lot of goals & Kewell is a non entity.

This is gonna take a long time. We are so far behind the top 2 it's disturbing & we could even finish 30 points behind them again this season & before anyone slams that comment, we are already 12 & 10 points behind them.

St Michael,

Not sure that Alonso deserves to be singled out for stick. At the minute he is trying to singlehandedly keep our midfield going forward. Kewell, Diao and Garcia were non-existent, so it comes to Alonso to spray out his passes; the more he has to try it alone, the more ambitious his passes get, the more they go astray. With Gerrard in alongside him, he will be an awesome player. At the moment, he's a one-man midfield.

Traore and Diao - what the ****** were they doing in the team? I'd have put Riise at LB and put Warnock in LM, maybe even giving Kewell a run alongside cisse.

Kirkland did better than people are saying, IMO. he came in to the team trying to give the defence a bit of authority - Dudek has clearly lost their confidence. he tried, was positive, brave and did Ok. Cole's goal wasn't his fault; he'll come good.

We weren't totally outclassed today; we got beat by the 2nd best team in the country by one goal, from YET ANOTHER  dodgy free-kick.

We've now played 2 of the 3 best teams in the country away and lost by a goal. Keep harping on about the dodgy decisions against us, but it now means all the goals conceded in the last 3 games have come from them - no one has carved us open for a goal in open play, so that's some consolation.

As for Josemi; dunno what to think. think again he's getting a bit of unfair stick, cos he had no cover in front of him against Chelsea and he was left trying to cope with Duff and Lampard pretty much on his own.

1. Harry Kewell-this lad no longer plays because he loves the club or the game, he plays for money in order to be the richest Australian.
2. Traore-why is he even here? He doesn't even deserve to play in a club like Norwich yet he gets a start?
3. Diao-I rather have Biscan in midfield than this fool.
4. Finnan-what can I say? Just not good enough

Playing such poor players in big games concerns me.

Our team should had been:
Kirkland,Josemi,Hyypia,Riise,Alonso,Garcia,Hamman,Warnock,Cisse and Baros.

What Rafa was thinking only he and the birds on the tree's know.

My concern has grown. If this wasn't a wake up call for our players and our manager then I don't know what will wake us up.

your suggested team only has 10 players  :D

f****n quality, sy no more  :D

Yeah I think we'd play better with 11  :;):

Add in Carragher there Einstein.

players to go for me...  dudek, traore, biscan, diao, finnan

I think its a bit tough to give Garcia stick although I can see why.

I think Garcia sometimes looks a bit lost, normally when we are playing away from home, as when we are playing 4-4-1-1 away from home we don't seem to have enough players aropund him for his clever, quick passes, where as when we play at home there are lots of runs being made from midfield to pick up the balls he is threading through..
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Who need to go?

out of the players who played at Chelsea, Kewell, Risse (f*ckin garbage, the pair of them), hypia (great servant to the club, but on his last legs). Garcia, Cisse and Alonso all looked out of sorts, but they must be given time. It must be a huge shock, especially to come form the Spanish league, to the Premiership.

The only lad for me worth watching and with any desire is Carragher. Its a pity the lad is not better technically or he would be a top defender.

I'm afraid it looks like a good few years before we're challenging for the title.

Its just not about who should go

Carra has very average abilities in his game, but he was the best player against Chelsea, just because he had that passion and desire to do a good job, play a good game and hope his mates do the job.

The rest with much better abilities technically all fared worse than Carra.

Our team lacks the spirit to become winners. I envy Arsenal who has this attributes to the core of their team. You can even see it from the substitutes Wenger plays. That spirit is alive in the Arsenal team. And add that to their great talented players, they have been unbeaten for 48 games!

We need that morale and spirit. That is what is missing. :(
