Thats terrible language for a judge. A supposed custodian of British values!!!!
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Benitez has a lot of problems at Liverpool but they are nothing compared to the mess that is Real Madrid.

I know he may have ambitions of managing Madrid someday, but managing Real at the moment would be career suicide.

A rebellious and egotistical playing staff, a domineering and all powerful president, a huge but utterly impatient following, and all the eyes in Spain (and Europe) watching your every move, not to mention some dramatic problems on the field, does not make attractive reading to me, if I were Rafeal Benitez.

Sure, he has problems at Liverpool, but at least here he has time on his hand and while the Liverpool crowd is frustrated, I think everyone understands the problems on the playing field.

Things arnt looking good at all.

Oh no! Please let it all be a horrible nightmare. Hoping that Raffa is using some psychology to inject some spirit into the squad. If not, where to from here?

You cant teach an old dog new tricks you only have to see him very dissapointed on the touch line, holding his head in his hands they HAVENT LISTENED TO ANYTHING IVE TAUGHT THEM
As JB pointed out he would be crazy to go to Madrid at this present moment in time.
Even though they have better players than us. :(

taken from the official liverpool website:

Rafael Benitez has publicly backed his players in the aftermath of Liverpool's third successive away loss at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
Benitez made a total of five changes to the side that had started the midweek Champions League defeat against Olympiacos but, despite a much-improved first half showing, the Reds failed to register a win on their travels for the fourth time this season.

"I decided to change many things because we have been losing and not playing well away from home," explained the boss afterwards.

"But I have confidence in all my players and we need to do everything we can to improve. It is too soon to judge us. You need to wait another month or two to see where the team is."

sounds like another story blown out of all proportion by the press.
