I was surprised to learn that so many new locations of the Blue Oyster Club had opened this year despite the global economic downturn.

Got back from an island in the mediteranean on wednesday, just looking out the window at the cold drizzle, work looms Monday. Its very depressing.

Got back from Tenerife about 3 weeks ago. We go every year, bloody great place. Enjoy it.

Well guess you have one week to go so hope you and the missus are having a great time...

I'm of the philosophy now that it's good to make the most of every day.

I know of two ladies that were due to fly abroad on holiday (separately) but both their husbands were taken ill preventing them from going. One with a stroke and the other with kidney trouble.
Don't mean to sound all doom and gloom but enjoy life if you can. Moments are made to treasure.

Tins of foxes biscuits have hit an all time high in Tenerife....a spokesman for foxes said 'We dont care that they are not buying our tins for the biscuits,if I was traveling to Tenerife knowing Judge was there I'd stick a biscuit tin lid down my pants too....for hes a dirty auld fuc'ker that one'.. :sniffle

Indeed.

I just booked a weeks holiday on the Thomson website. If I select package holiday the price for flights and accom. for me, wife, ba is £1250. If I select flights and add accomodation at the next booking step for the same hotel, the price is £600. WTF is that about. Anyone cracking deal I reckon and something to look forward to! :blues:
