Will you all catch a grip, we can get Kenny, Mouriniho or Guardiola - it aint going to make a blind bit of difference to the mess the club is in

Again, you're using the owners as some sort of excuse. We dont play for the owners. We play for the manager, the fans, the back-room staff etc. Not for a couple of texan clowns who've got their thumbs in our pie

mmm... I think it would...

Wouldnt want Roy replaced yet but im sure a different manager would have approached the game in a different way and it might have made a difference with regards to the final scoreline..

Im not too bothered about this game to be honest and if anything im more worried about the pressure our top players will be under following the result rather than the fact that we're out of the carling cup early on..

Maybe he is thinking Northampton sounds like a nice place

I don't know what's more depressing. Losing at Home to Northampton or the re-enforcement of the absolute fact that some of our "fans" are as far from being the best in the World as you can be. And to think these are the same people who berated me as a knee jerker because I criticised Benitez after four seasons. Incredible really.

Roy needs to give everyone a kick up the @rse and start changing around things. Some of our reserves are not good enough... when you have a midfield of Lucas-Spearing, who have premier league experience, you expect to dominate a league two side. Unfortunately both players are not good enough!

To be totally honest no it isn't "fair" to say it at all. It is actually totally UNFAIR to say it, but that won't stop lots of people frop saying it.

It's not an opinion, it's a FACT! Look at the results so far.

Agreed  :nod

tut tut tut Lynds, you really should know and be better than that  :glare:

Why we havent played great under Hodgson once, not once, what we are seeing is Fulham If you like his tactics thats up to you, but I never thought Id be seeing Liverpool play like this.
The man is out of depth he wouldnt even do a press conference yesterday because hes getty Tetchy with the journos questions, well hes at Liverpool now you cannot cancel press conferences.

And the sending Kyriagos upfront jesus christ is this the sign of things to come? he used to send that big Fulham defender upfront.

Mick you dont want to admit it but he is a mid/lower table manager and the only way we will go with him is down and not up.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

So what would we want Roy to do

Play Torres and Gerrard tonight, may as well get Cole out there as well!

He picked the correct team for the game. The fact that they cant beat a team from the 4th division is a disgrace and yes Roy has to shoulder some of the blame for this

We are in a mess however what is Hodgson trying to achieve as I dont see the team doing anything better than what they did last year.  We are no more expansive than last year but I am not surprised as it wasnt as if Fulham were a great side to watch.

Well look at the facts if you must. We've won five from five in Europe, and we've got exactly the same points in the same fixtures in the league which we got last season. We've got knocked out of a trophy tonight which we haven't done well in for years.

Nightmare? Mine are worse than that.

Not the results, fella; the performances. People reckoned we couldn't perform worse than last season? They're eating them words now. We're anti-football at the moment.
