We are playing similar football to last year. I don't see how anyone can slag Hodgson off because we are playing this sort of football after a couple of games, when they were defending Rafa even though under him we were playing similar stuff after a couple of hundred games.

Took Hodgson about 10 games to get Fulham playing the way he wanted but we really need to start seeing some improvement in the next few games or the pressure will begin the build. It's the modern game.

We are playing too deep, the movement is poor, Gerrard looks a bit lost, Torres is isolated, the defence can't play the ball out, etc.

Lets hope Meireles can dominate games from midfield, dictate tempo, push us 20 yards up the field and get us passing the ball around in the opposition half. If he really is the player we all hope he is then he will make a big difference.

Plenty of work to do Roy.

How about, "didn't play particularly well but was a decent point away from Home at Birmingham".

I don't think we've beat them for about five years so the result was hardly the biggest shock in the World. Considering we carried Lucas and Rodriguez, the other nine did pretty well I thought.

Did you watch the game ? We were shocking once again - we got bloody lucky to get a point thanks to one player - I'm not interested in what happened previously 5 years - I'm looking at right now and that performance was abysmal .

I did watch the game mate, with a keen interest. I really can't see what's making you froth at the mouth quite so much. They are a good team, we went there and we got a point. We didn't play great, but the players who were the principal reason for our poor performance weren't a shock to me so perhaps that's why I can deal with it a bit more rationally.

Maxi and Lucas were awful, and to a slightly lesser extent Jovanovic too. I didn't really expect anything different, and I think under the circumstances we did pretty well, definately the better side second half.

If we played like this under Rafa, I bet you would have been all over him today for the poor tactics and poor team selection.

Face it, we were absolutely awful today and Manure is going to tear us apart next weekend, unless we make huge improvements.

Yep agree - Lucas was poor but Poulsen was just as poor and he looked lost for most of the match - nearly gifted them a goal .

Fecking hell Igor are you being serious mate :D Somebody else compared Lucas to Poulsen today, I don't know what to say really. If you can't see a difference between the quality of the two players I'm at something of a loss TBH.

Maxi and Jovanovic were both poor, at least the bloke on the left put a shift in. Carra was excellent I thought, Johnson pretty good considering he was playing behind Maxi, and Skrtel OK.

Chill out mate, we haven't just started playing like this you know .

I would say Gerrard Johnson and hodgson were our worst performers today the bigger the expectation the bigger the disappointment.

We don't expect Lucas or Skertel to perform so we can't complain.

Mate I'm not going to deny it, but the team is made up of Rafa signings and he had been at the club for six years  THAT'S SIX YEARS NOT SIX WEEKS!!!!!!!!

As it is, Roys just started out and he's got some difficult fixtures to negotiate. It was a good point gained, job done.

I would say only two players can really hold their heads up - Pepe and Konchesky .

Rafa's gone - get over it . Can't use him as an excuse for that performance and the previous poor performances .
