I thought we played much better second half. For a while there I thought we were going to get our first win over Birmingham in our last twelve league games or whatever the feck the stat is, but in the end it's not a bad point.
As far as the game was concerned Lucas was absolutely terrible, even by his own standards. As soon as he went off we looked a far better team, and it once again confirmed the fact that he is a passenger who is too heavy for us to carry. Poulsen did well (once again particularly once Lucas had gone off so he could just get on with doing what he does). Maxi Rodriguez was once again absolutely anonymous, and surely even babel must be a better bet. Shining light of the display though (obviously as well as the unbelieveable Pepe Reina and Carra who had a blinder too) was Paul Konchesky. The arguments been done to death about him so there's no need to go over it again here, but hopefully even his biggest critic could see what he offered in this match.
For them I like Roger Johnson more each time I see him. There aren't many better centre halves in the division, and if we do get a few quid then a bid for him of mid teens would be money well spent IMHO. He was absolutely excellent again today.
