who feckin enjoys us losing you stupid gobsh!te, I hate losing, Im telling you your beloved Roy is not good enough to manage our club, what dont you understand about that?

rafas time was up but the job vacancy should not have been given to Hodgson and thats the truth so deal with it.

Maybe people will realise their expectations are a little high and lower them to more realistic standards that fit our situation .

Not many on here said we would win the league! many said that we will be a steady ship and try to get into the top 4 and I think we can still do that.

People really are forgetting the fact is that Man City spent more than 100m quid this summer.. and that is a FACT!

They have more money than us --- FACT

They have better players ---- FACT

spot on Bav, now everyone will see who the problem always was. It was the cancer
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

JFT 96 - Gone but never forgotten
YNWA 15/4/1989
God Bless You All

I agree. Roy needs to make a couple of signings before the month is out.

I wonder will Andy Gray be sucking Roy's balls after this and still be praising the system, which is quiet literally redundant in the modern game. We got swamped in the midfield from the outset.

someone remind he where we finished in the league in Rafa's first season.

you've set yourself up here Kewell

Rafa won the CL in his first season and then improved in the league and got CL football in all of the seasons we were here (bar his last)

no i haven't lad, IN THE LEAGUE we were awful..5th place we finished and struggled to get results against the likes of HULL.

Hull were in the prem in Rafa's first season?  ???

look, he gave us the Champions League for Christ sake, how do you think Roy would fare in that competition?

You'd have sacked Rafa for his league finish in his first season

Top 4 for a club like Liverpool isn't something that should be talked about, it should be expected, a minimum - Rafa won the competition that every team strives to get into

no i woudn't have sacked him, my point is he was given time.

At the end of the day Roy is no better than Rafa but that doesn't matter because we could have mourinho and we would still be in this situation because if the yanks are still here we are going nowhere but into oblivion

All them in the ground apparently.

Tedious tw@t? no dont think so, just being honest that Roy is not good enough to be our manager end of.

Do us a favour and wait until we have played at least 20 matches before you spout sh!t like that.

You cant judge the bloke yet, the feckin transfer window hasnt even closed!

U dont need 20 games to tell we were setup wrong for this match and never could figure it out for 90mins.

Hodgson is an average manager who should've been left to earn his pension at Fulham not saddled with the responsibilty of managing a top club...

Average Manager?

Ive never heard of an Average manager that has managed Inter Milan and then nearly won the Europa cup with a side that was fighting for relegation a season earlier.

And yes the setup for this match was wrong. Im saying wait 20 games before you judge him as manager, not how he sets the team up.

Moratti has done worse than appoint average managers at Inter!

Theres nothing in the decisions he made today that one has not seen b/4 from him...

It will get worse!
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

v poor performance.  Passes the ball v v poorly and system was all wrong vs City.  we dont have good enough players in midfield to outplay 5 players.  We really need a better wide player than Kuyt.

Go look at the thread mate and the poll - read the posts in the various threads mate - people expected miracles and us to suddenly improve leaps and bounds just because we got Cole and changes manager - the reality is miles from that .
