MANCHESTER CITY VS LIVERPOOL - Mon 23/8/2010 ko 20:00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Benny The Noon » Mon Aug 23, 2010 9:39 pm

Hopefully this will be a big slap of reality now - I haven't been negative in my opinion I have just been realistic - this game has highlighted all the fears , fears we need to sort out soon before we find ourselves struggling even more . We are being embaressed against one of our rivals for CL spot and we have our full team out minus one players - they are missing 100 million pounds worth of attacking options yet still scoring 3 . That shows the massive gap between finances required .

Kewell do I really have to point out the irony of your preaches here?

Can you imagine Rafa setting out that formation away from home against City and the team playing as they have, getting done 3-0? He'd be getting slaughtered right now. I wonder will Andy Gray be sucking Roy's balls after this and still be praising the system, which is quiet literally redundant in the modern game. We got swamped in the midfield from the outset.

sorry, i forgot. Kenny Daglish would have been far better...the guy's been out of the game of years and you think he'd walk in and win us the league like it was 1990.

Remind me, why did he leave again?

Agreed. Compare city's spending, not just to liverpool, but any other team and you realise just how daft it really is.
