It was a system that worked but only got criticized when a goal was conceded at set pieces. And of course the tv "experts".

Problem with 4-4-2 is that its too open unless you plan on the two banks of four which is then too defensive

Same old same old. Not alot changes from last season.

Still seem to play when when we are losing, No width.

not sure what some fans are expecting when you come up against a team which has Given, Silva, Adebayor and SWP on the bench....personally i feel we're starting to apply more pressure and show more conviction but it might be too late by now. never say never though.

Because we has no options in the squad and we just sent an option out on loan . I can't believe I am seeing Liverpool FC sitting so deep with ten men behind the ball .

neither system is worth a f**k if you dont have defensive players that can dominate in the air.

Same feckin team as last season apart from one free player Jovanovich and no one on here is kicking up a fuss, and dont get me started on the manager that we have. he said before the game lets hope we dont get beat 6-0 wtf? Your not at a small club anymore Roy get a grip. FFS pen unbelievable  :no

Using zonal marking we kept so many clean sheets - pepe won two golden gloves ffs which tells its own story
