we've been poor...but it's only 1-0 and Gerrard's shot topwards the end, although wayward, showed City going to sleep at the back

I thought Jova did well but he isn't getting any help on the wing from Agger.

take Kuyt and Lucas off for Poulsen and Babel or Pachecho. i reckon Maxi wouldnt make the impact needed if brought on.

Mate, Xabi alonso is a defensive mid...

Its not about having two defensive mids, its about weather or not they can pass the ball forward!
