If it was the right player, would you take a straight swap?

If Masch has come out with those comments then its a real shame.

Not sure we will hold out tbh mate - maybe try and sneak another couple of million but not much more esp with them adding another player into the deal .

Latest rumour is he is flying out to Barce tonight and has already agreed terms with them and just needs Liverpool to accept a deal with Barce

He didnt settle in Barce and was sent out on loan last season to Juve . Started well there but got injured so went back to Barce - he cost Barce around 17 million Euros and has a 50 million euro release clause . It seems they value him at around 11 million euros .

I think we all need to just calm down a bit here until the smoke clears and the lineup is announced.

Again, some people come out "reporting" that such and such is happening and it very quickly turns into fact.

One minute Mascherano is in the expected lineup, then he is refusing to play and next thing he is in Barcelona have a bite to eat. Give me a break.

This is almost as bad as the whole buyout situation.
