HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF, hope its not a sign for things to come, mind you that was Carras fault HOOFING we lost our shape once Jovanovich went off and it was all hussle and bussle again, still its early days and it was against Arsenal.
Cant fault the players comitment like, but playing with 10 men behind the ball is not my cup of tea, if we had have gone for it a bit more and Gerrard was further forward we would have won.

Carra's always hoofed it, nothing new there.

I think that's the reason Arsenal have sung in recent years Liverpool, hoof the ball.

I don't mind Carra hoofing it every now and then. It makes us unpredictable in our attacks and keep opposition center backs on their toes.

I also don't care what Arsenal or other fans say about us. There is no written rule that you have to play football like Arsenal or Barcelona. (Not that everyone can)

whilst we defended well on sunday, there's still cause for concern going forwards. i love carra to bits and he'll still do an excellent job for us but his inclusion does cause us to defend too deep which is a worry.

skrtel certainly looked to be back to his near nonsense best the other day which was excellent to see but i'm still not sure he's an automatic first choice. agger should be the first choice centre back now for me. i don't like him at left back as he offers nothing going forward.

A lot of 'kick-and-rush', I'm afraid.. Gerrard's always in such a rush.

yeah, because he was the first name on the team sheet when Rafa was around, wasn't he? :laugh:

even Rafa went off him when he became fit. That's why he only used him against average opposition.

He`s hardly our most creative player and the only discrace is the way he "floats" through games, letting most of it pass him by. The lad has talent but I dont think he`s the type we need.
If its a loan with a veiw to a permanent move then its a good deal, and for all we know frees up wages for a player who will make the first team.
Also how do you know he hasnt asked for a move?

As far as tonights game goes it could have quite easily been rafa in charge, apart from the somewhat messy marking at corners that is. I thought players cant get a run on ya when you mark man to man? It will be interesting to see how we do from corners this season.
