I was wondering is anyone else who is a parent being constantly inundated with facts about this movement .... Its not that I am totally oblivious to their history and lineage its just I choose not to give such conspiracies any real thought ....
However it now seems more and more Singers and especially rap artists like Jay Z and Tupac and now Eminem have started to preach religiously through the medium of their music about this order ...and if I am honest it is putting the fear of God into the kids who are continually listening to this shite
My lad is actually obsessed with the ramblings of such Gobshites such as these they have chosen to make their new statesmen .... I know its just not my lad as many of the parents I have spoken to have said the same thing about their kids its kind of worrying and frankly its doing my fucking head in now ..... anyone else feel the same

I actually am a big hip hop fan but dont really listen to Sh!te like Eminem. Id listen to certain underground DJs who do mixtapes and i haven't come across to much stuff about religion

A mate of mine from uni started getting into this and now it's practically all he ever talks about. Try to have a normal conversation with him and he starts talking about the secret societies and how the rebuilding of the temple of soloman will lead to ww3 ect... blah blah blah

Those Zeigeist films don't help either. I don't really pay any attention to it tbh. Although where I used to work in Holborn there was a building, actually called the 'free mason house' and they used to have meetings there every friday. We would normally knock off early and head down to the pub so youd see them all coming out dressed like idiots in those robes.

Funny you should bring this up Red as my daughter was going on about it weeks ago , talking about that Jay Z and that Beyonce being part of this , told me all sorts , kept going on about some sign they keep making when ever there on stage. and went into this secret sect there in, so yes mate ive had it , and it done my head in an all, She kept goin on about these people ruling the world, and how pwerful they had become, A long long chat from me saying it was rubbish and poiting a few things out hoped would do the trick. And i seemed to get through ,But as you say mate its brainwashing these kids and the fanatics who follow these ,

the illuminati is an order invented by robert anton wilson in his book trilogy of the same name. the trilogy deals with cults, orders and secret societies along the lines of freemasons and world orders. the whole thing became a bit of a literary and theory phenomena and its been fashionable for many musicians to quote it or reference it. once again it seems to be in fashion. i'd actually recommend reading it as its a good life and a great work of imagination. seeing as it has its faor share of conspiracy theories as well there are a number on here who would love it.

Its an option for anyone to lead whatever way of life they choose..she has just discovered that there are other things out there than what school taught her..she needs to see the world mate then make her own mind up!

coincidentally, the theatre premiere of the illuminati was created by ken campbell at the science fiction theatre of liverpool - which is now flanagan's apple. bill drummond created the sets and ian broudie played guitar for the sound track.

the whole story is the classic blend of fact and fiction that is perfectly designed to fool people.

and its all the kids seem to be talking about ... I just think they should sing their shite music and not try and convey any messages about secret sects ...because if its intentions are to scare the kids shitless then its fucking working

My Lad who is still at school and at an impressionable age fella not my Daughter who is at University and far to headstrong and level headed to let any shite such as this effect her ... otherwise I would have little concern

Barry mate i agree with Red its becoming a pain in the ar,se , The way she was talking to me was that this Jay Z and his mrs had some say on what went on , i got told there really powerful people , there musicians ffs , and yet kids are hanging on there every word, She is not a kid niether shes 23, Its not what you call a worry because as you said she has got her own mind ,i can deffo say that, but when you try to argue that there just fecking musicians , its oh im wasting my time even talking to you , then they try and tell you whats what with these, and it does you head in because they think that what you say is wrong and well they miust have some credence look at were they are , She is a good girl a very good girl who has got loads of morals and im made up with that ,shes done well for herself ,own buissness so i shouldnt complain but this new craze thing does gets on your nerves mate .

Andy you're either talking sh!t, Lakes style, Or you are unaware that the illuminati was spoken of as early as 1776. Their roots were a genuine threat to the Catholic Church, conspiracy theoristsmaintain they still survive today.
