Matrix your avatar never fails to brighten up my day mate. On the question of Johnston, I'm confident we'll see a monster of a player this season.

Can admin change board settings so 300 year old polls don't get bumped, or maybe set it so "poll only" gets bumped but if that box isn't ticked then the thread doesn't bump unless you post in it?

I see what looked like a new thread and it's old news

I understand your Schtick is to try to bring some levity to the board, but your act of negativity is really beneath what you are capable of posting.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

This might have been worth reigniting if that was what happened in a manner of someone posing a question, but I strongly suspect this was merely someone voting in an old poll so not

Agreed as long as he stays injury free. He gives so much going froward for me its worth the odd time when hes caught out of position. The whole he cant defend thing baffles me. He may get beat afew times by wingers but hes gonna have tired legs soemtimes when defending during matchs. Its easier to be a solid defender if u hardly get up the pitch and conserve all ur energy 2 defend.

I also think if we get a right winger who can beat players and put in a good cross the emphasis wouldnt be so much on Johnson 2 get forward and do that job, so he could get a better balance between going forward and staying back

Arbeloa very rarely got skinned ... and his positional sense was far more adept than Johnson's who seems bereft of this particular attribute .... just my personal opinion (Well if Mick can inundate a forum with his opinions ..Im surely allowed one )   :D sorry Big Guy

Dunno about that mate. That 4-4 at Anfield against Arsenal was one of the worst performaces from him I had ever seen.

Arby is ok but nothing special.

I believe we should have some kind of "back from the vaults section" theres no end of interesting/amusing/ironical material back there, its a goldmine, its not like most of the board sections are being used anyway.

Johnson btw
