Named it after the 2nd most famous Macedon, Philip II

don't tell me... the most famous is Philip I?

No, his son, you might have heard of him, Alexander the Great.

¡Alejandro Magno!  :D

I don't think we're playing great, but we're plenty good enough.

I honestly think that the only thing we can expect at this point of the summer is to gain minutes and a good result against the European teams. No one can't expect to see good game now.  I just expect not to encounter anything like a german team for now.

Interesting that he's been making Lucas captain.  Those hoping that the Brazilian wouldn't feature much in Hodgson's plans are going to be disappointed, I think.

Think there for tonking to be honest. Jovanovic and Amoo could run at them at pace and give them all sort of problems. Aquilani should shoot more there keeper doesn't seem all that great.

With Mascherano wanting to go I guess Lucas is the main beneficiary

yep, heard of him but didn't realise he was macedonian. ancient history really isn't my strong point. as you can tell, i'm sure.
