He had a lot of people fooled as it was a fairly elaborate ploy, right down to the "A bomb plast near my office" thread.

The multiple avator thing is getting to be a problem now Roberts and those Gobs.*i*e crowd will get a crack of supersub's stick fairly soon.

Well to be honest I thought Honolulu Bob and Bob Grumbine were Cheesecakery, so sorry Cheesecakery :D
When you say Multiple Avatar problem, do you mean my avatar, because I got it from the list of avatars provided?

Ok, multiple username.

So you're still saying that Beavis is your brother/cousin Roberts?

Yeah hes my cousin who happens to use my PC.
Dom1 also uses my PC if you notice, all 3 of us have been logged in at one time as well remember?
Yes Ive had a couple of IDs in the past, so I suppose if you are using the IP theory I must be Dom1 ???

I also thought Bob was Cheeso but Zak had us all tricked for a while.

Have to say though, Bob is a great character and Zak no longer posts as Zak.

Its gettin' to the stage where we might have to change things so as only to allow one username per member.

Like Leon said I've seen threads where 3/4 of the posts were made by one person with multiple usernames, which is sad.

As I said before the IP address isn't an exact science as some people log on from different computers.

Also, some IP addresses are randomly generated by AOL etc.

Cheesecakery's alter ego's are an immediate give away.  :D

As a new member to this Website, I have relatively little knowledge of the site politics and do not get enough time to read sufficient posts to recognise multiple names of the same person. But what I have observed is a clique of personalities who seem to 'Hunt in a Pack' either supporting each others topic or disrupting a 'non-clique members topic'. Together with a very distasteful element of behaviour, where members of the clique pick up on a moderators comments to an individual member and join-in with a 'good kicking while he is down'
All very immature and reminiscent of Class 3b School Politics: we're in the gang and your not.
I also wonder about the position of the moderator, joining in with the 'hares' but really being a member of the hounds. Which seems to create an inflated position of respect and sycophantic behaviour from the clique members.

My missus is a member of this forum, so when she has posted in the past, she will have the same IP as me.

Also the member called Macca is my younger brother, but I don't live at home with him anymore, so my ancient posts when I first joined here when I did live at home should show (I think) his IP address.

Or that may not be the case.

Anyway, the point is I don't multiple post as different users.  I agree with you Leon, it's child's play.  And I don't go in that spamming thread The Real World to bother having another personality.  I always preferred Will We Beat Blackpool to spam in when I did at all, but even then I didn't create another ID to mess about with.

I don't see the point of it and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I think you'll find that is the last thing the moderators are shown.
Please don't give them any ideas

I'm not sure what you are driving at.

However, I do agree that there are certain members like A.B. and The Hustler/Hustler's Revenge, who get ganged up on. I think the A.B. thing is unfair, but its hard to have sympathy for the Hustler, who has been banned before for starting inflammatory threads.

Oh cmon mate we respect you

:D

???

Fair enought this thread but some of us enjoy the general chat stuff and when we do post in the football side we try to be respectful or at least give our views.

Ive seen people posting here about spam threads go ballistic with other members and if multiple posters respect all aspects of the site then fair enough
