I had to admit to being pleasantly surprised last night by DM as the commentator. Having only ever heard him being interviewed after a game before I thought he was excellent re discussions about the long ball etc.

Also no hint of animosity towards the club, hope to see him again and makes a pleasant change from the regulars.

He said the long ball wouldnt work with the forward line up and of course it all went wrong for other reasons and we played the long ball game .....again.

might have something to do with the fact he was on tv. have you heard what he's said in the press recently?

I havent seen what's hes said in the paper can you explain. I did read somewhere that he talked about factions in the changing room but how serious an issue was it?

I think he's a bit bitter at being sold kindaconfused and he made comments to the effect that Liverpool had no morale and Benitez was making a big mistake in selling the English players.

It was last weeks Independent on Sunday the article was in.

He wasnt that bitter but there was some digs at the club and foreigners but Id hardly accuse him of xenophobia just probably thinks he is better that the players we got in
