Over the 90 mins Spain were the better side that's for sure. I feel kind of bad for the Germans, not sure why. Think I must have a soft spot for them.

Anyway it should make for a cracking final. Can't believe these 2 sides have never met in a competitive match before. Not sure who I want to win. Would love to see Torres come back with a world cup winners medal. Would help push any asking price to 80mil

but would also love to see Dirk and Ryan come back with winners medals too.

I think Germany should take a lot of credit for getting this far. With something like 4 or 5 players coming in straight from the under 21's most were saying they will be ready for the next Euros or Brazil 2014 ect... so to get this far will do them a world of good.

ps Paul got it right again!!! I wonder if after the world cup they will cook him?

FOUR PRESENT LIVERPOOL PLAYERS AND TWO EX PLAYERS ARE IN THE WORLD CUP FINAL. JUST MADE UP FOR THEM.

PEPE, FERNANDO , KUYT, BABEL, ALONSO, ARBELOA. GREAT IN IT

Well what ever happens atleast 2 of our players will get a WC medal Babel, Kuyt, Torres & Reina thats if 3 of them are still here next season :glare:

And if anyone deserves a WC medal its got to be our Derek he has been boss.

Dirk has been brilliant, makes you laugh how all this tiredness is talked about , he has been fresh a a daisy, outstanding tournament for him

delighted for spain though. i was jumping up and down like a nutter when they scored and the firecrackers have been going off ever since. god knows what its going to be like here if/when they win the bloody thing.

Fantastic result...too bad I missed all but the last 20 minutes. Caught the goal though and was very surprised to see the Germans make such a basic defensive error. By all accounts they were 2nd best all match though so fair play to Spain for bossing the game. If both teams decide to actually come out a play football on Sunday we should see a cracker. I fear it might be a pretty cagey affair for quite a lot of the match though.

Yeah miss him in a Liverpool shirt - really torn as always wanted Spain to win but would really love it for Kuyt to win a wc winners medal - he deserves one
