I appreciate that cheating happens a lot, but that was arguably the worst kind of cheating and at such a pivotal point. And of course the Uruguayans gained the advantage of the incident infuriating the Africans and making them wait to take the penalty, putting as much pressure on the kick-taker as the keeper. Ghana were never going to benefit much from the red card with so little time left, had the ball gone in or been awarded as a 'penalty goal' then Ghana go through, instead they have to try and beat the keeper again so effectively Uruguay got two bites at the cherry at stopping the ball going in.

To me it's much like the Schumacher cheating incident where Schumacher took him out of the race and therefore nicked the title. But for that collision Hill would have almost certainly won the title.

So justice is finally served, any decisions didn't go the way of Uruguay is just ice. They had an easy ride anyway, not as if France, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea and then Ghana were world beating opponents, well we may never know how good Ghana are or how far they could have got because they were robbed of a chance to show us.

I reckon Suarez would have saved one or two of them dutch goals

Kin ell France would have a squad of about 7 if he got rid of the trouble makers
