He's definitely a loss and he felt underappreciated at Liverpool, so its no surprise he left.

As for those people accusing him of being greedy, grow up. Who wouldn't change job if you were offered substantially more money.

I agree. A very good player and had a good run in the team, but as was the norm for the irregular players, when he had a good run he was then dropped for the next game or subbed in the game he was doing well in.

Frustration played a big part in his leaving, and for that I am not surprised. Unlike Riera, he kept his feeling to himself and decided to look elsewhere.

That's one of our most creative players gone then. Really hope Aquilani stays fit next season.

Benayoun will spend more time on the bench than from the start. Anyway, we need someone who plays on the left as we've enough right sided players. Perhaps we should try and get Malouda in return. Okay, I'll keep dreaming. :;):

Well maybe Riera will stay now that Rafa has gone. He always looked alright for us on the left.
