Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby LittleHobo » Fri Jun 25, 2010 9:49 am

The state of affairs the club now, leaves only one option. An option that will not go down well with many LFC fans, but the realistic fans will see it as the only escape.
The debts are crippling, as long as there are debts, the club will sink further. Selling Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtle, Mascerano, Aqualini, Gerrard, Kuyt, Reira, Babel, El Zhar, Torres and Maxi would raise the club around £200m in cash.
But that is not enough.
We also need to sell the stadium and move into a smaller 18,000 capacity stadium. That would mean we could sell Anfield, and have lower costs on stadium. Then the debts would be cleared, and the club can finally MOVE ON.
The team next year would be Gulacsi, Kelly, Insua, Krygiakos, Carragher, Plessis, Spearing, Lucas, Ngog, Nemeth, Pacheco.

under hodson we will compete for the 7th or 8th spot

you cant honestly think gerrard, torres and mascherano will stay when we have no money to compete

and he wil probaly have 30% of it to replace them with

until the debt is gone we will have to keep selling and being happy with a 7th or 8th position

i say start fresh now and then lets rebuild with no debt

You can't say that Hodgson can only achieve 6/7th, it's a ludicrous statement.

If Gerrard and Torres stay (50/50?) the squad itself is capable of a top four finish.

I do not hold the opinion that Hodgson is going to trigger a a player exodus.

Does anyone really see the appointment of Hodgson as a sign of progress towards bigger and better things ? The majority of the fans can't so why would Torres and Gerrard see it as progress ?

In all my years on this site I have never read such utter complete nonsense.

Well done mate, that's brilliant
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
