Thats only important at the end of this 1st stage !But winning and playing draw boosts the teams selfconfidence!However I think they have to perform well in both halves, not only the 1st as last time !

This isn't the world cup, we're not Turkey, and that was two years ago.

But he has a good point though ! You can`t give Rivaldo freekick-possibility near the box - area! He can easiliy smash it in !

Just found some facts, and if the history repeats itself we should be able to leave Greece with at least one point:

*Olympiakos has played teams from England five times in the Eurpean Cups. The only win was in the 1972/73 campaign, against Tottenham (1-0).
*Liverpool have never lost against Greek teams in the European Cups
* Olympiakos have lost only 3 out of 22 home-ground matches in CL.

I`m placing my money on a Liverpool win, and a draw in the Monaco vs Deportivo match. A perfect result for us, and I guess my profit will cover for the beer I drink while watching the game at the local pub

OK - and in Norway we can see it on TV3 Norway ! The only problem is that they show Manc LIVE and LFC afterwards! :kungfu:

hate to say i told u so but i did i think rafa should ditch zonal marking the players clearly dnt like it and proably not comfortable with it.
