Cool - remember it's a muslim country so just be weary of local customs (no uhmm on the beach stuff :D, not sure alchi laws, but likely to be strict ). There are loads of ex-pats and ppl like yourself, working out there so you're bound to make friends etc.

And put a good word in for Liverpool Football Club, with the rich and famous :;):

Be warned boo its scorchio in the summer well into the 50's  :sniffle
Theres loads of ex-pats there you will have a great life and plenty of cash if you go to work there. Its not far from Dubai about 1 and a half hour drive so you have the best of both worlds.

I might go in October on my holidays there cant go in the summer its far to hot.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Boocity mate, I live and work in Abu Dhabi, I've been here for a year and a half now.

What questions would you like to ask? anything in particular?

Don't worry about Local tradition and customs there, just don't do anything that will attract attention. If you would like to join a beach and at a convenient price, I would look at both the Inter Continental Hotel and Hilton. Both have great beaches, I'm already a member in Hilton. An advice for you, its better if you do join a beach club just to waste time on Fridays because most shops and malls are closed until 3 p.m (Friday prayers).

Also, don't be surprised about how high the rent is there, its more expensive than Dubai! A lot of people working in Abu Dhabi have a house in Dubai because its cheaper, but they would have to drive everyday for an hour depending on the traffic. For me, I didn't like it, so its up to you. If you have any questions regarding housing I can help you.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions via pm  :)
