The Israeli anticipates the completion of his move to Stamford Bridge over the next few days having indicated last week while on international duty that Chelsea were keen to sign him. "Ancelotti wants me for next season and now everything depends on Liverpool," he said. "Chelsea will have to pay some £6m, but I believe that, in the end, I'll be moving there."
His market value probably is around £6M - but we shouldn't be selling him for less than £15-20M because that's how much [b]rafa would need to find an adequate replacement.[\b]
Hardly. How much did Benitez buy him for in the first place? 4 million? So why would it take 4 times that amount to find someone the same or better? In fact, it wouldn't be too difficult to find someone better for the 8 million supposedly offered for him, which should be taken. It's amazing how you value a average player to be as high as 15 million pounds worth more so than the judgement of a manager that bought him for virtually peanuts and will most certainly get close to double the amount paid.
