Hollywood actor Dennis Hopper has been found dead in bed at the age of 74 following a battle with prostate cancer. Hopper was found dead in bed on Saturday morning surrounded by friends and family at his home in Venice, California.

such a loss, great actor, the scene in true romance with christopher walken was a good as it gets.

this genuinely saddens me. one of my favourite actors of all time with so many great roles in so many great films; easy rider, apocalypse now, rumble fish, blue velvet ( :bowdown ), true romance...

RIP dennis

he wasn't in it, he directed it. robert duvall (another great actor) was joint lead alongside penn.

One of my fave movies of all time....I could picture Hopper's name in the credits, just got the name mixed up.

Another cinematic Legend gone R.I.P Dennis
Space Truckers is one of  my favourite Sci Fi films, Hopper virtually carried this film single handedly on his talented shoulders
Blue Velvet saw him play the role of Frank Booth ....Hopper at his malevolent  best ....
Simply one of the greats who easily ranks imo alongside Brando and the excellent Paul Newman as method actors at their very best

He carried that film. Great actor who will be missed.

At least we have 3D to carry us through the next ten years.

The talents being killed off.

Shame.
