Sat and flicked between the footy and the darts tonight, and watched Phil Taylor. He threw two 9 darters, the first person ever to do that in one match, and thought how much he has achieved in his sport. I actually think he is on a par with the aforementioned players.

I can't think anyone will reach the level he has reached in darts, and he's said himself, he's won every tournament he can now.

he's absolutely reknowned at being the best at what he does, easily up there with darts' greatest, but how great is darts eh?

the power is absolutely brilliant and to do it for so long is phenomenal.

But, why did you post this in lfc discussion ?

he's good but there's a 30 year old fella in my local that could whoop his ar$e off the oche for good. this kid hit's 9 darters for fun.

Phil Taylor is good though

If he's that good, i'm sure he wouldn't be in your local, he'd be World Number 1.

not really, dont think it works like that. he's never entered any competition except county games which is more fool him to be honest.

My problem is Darts. I'd consider it a pastime not a sport.

hes a legend, n to be world champion so many times, for his achievements,,,, hes easily in the top 5 greaest professionals of all time. if not thee top.... someone mentioned darts bein a past time not a sport, n others talk bout tiger woods, woods isnt that overly great he wins maybe 30% of the tournaments he enters gets mega money from nike n ppl think hes the best, taylor isnt as wel known as woods but hes better at what he does than woods is at golf. and gettin back to the past time part,,,,, what is golf, its a past time in my eyes.
