I don't know mate. Mourinho has taken them to a CL final as well, which is an achievement in itself. Pointless omitting it from the record when most of us accept that getting to Athens was up there as one of Rafa's better achievements. Either way I don't see his title wins at Inter as more of an achievement than those at Chelsea or even that "special" at all - given the conditions. The "special" bit is in getting to CL final - and potentially winning it - at the same time as the league and cup wins. That's special.

Quite happy to take a cl final appearance as something to be noted down as an achievement esp beating barce and Chelsea along the way and if inter do loose and maureen still gets credit for getting them there I'm hoping that sort of merit is afforded elsewhere as well .

Perhaps.

People have been known to play down Rafa's achievements because of the state we find ourselves in. I don't see any point in the tactic that is trying to negate everything, because you just don't need to. There's enough evidence as it is that Rafa has done a far from satisfactory job without the need to go down that or the character assassination route - which is the latest fad.

Off course mate . They are both extremely good managers and both up there along with the current best managers around in the game . You can't play down their achievements trophy wise . Yes maureen has had a bit of help along the way and plays very dull football but you can't argue with the results - as a manager up there , as a person his public personality he is a total arrogant c.ock of the highest order with his ego taking the limelight away from his players who IMO deserve the accolades more , never want to see him at Liverpool , never want a person like him anywhere near the club - he wouldn't know graciousness or humility or respect if it came up and smacked him in the face and that's one thing all managers have in common .

cant say I want Inter to win this, I dont want to think about the reaction of this place either way:

if Inter win it'll be - 'see look how great he is' and some will praise him while bashing Rafa i.e. better than our Spanish waiter, look how he loves the players Rafa wouldnt do that the players love him etc etc no doubt Ace will appear revelling in it

if Bayern win - see he isnt that great he cant even beat Bayern in the final, everyone who likes him have some of that

I don't really give a sh!t but there's some smug gets on this board and some who are too proud to admit he's great. I'm going to opt for pride than being a smug @rsehole. Bayern win

Just for the record I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with admiring a genuinely good manager, what I am saying is that carrying on as if your a supporter of one of his teams to be smug towards fellow Liverpool fans is out of order

I couldn't care less who wins, I just want an enjoyable cup final. a 4-4 with extra time and penalties would suit me down to the ground.

Gotta give mourinho credit for this champions league win. You can see why the top clubs want him as their manager.
