Shouldnt we have one?

We have the sin bin, which to be honest is a waste of space. All that does is explain why people have been carded without giving the chance for people to speak there views. And also lets be honest, not everything is recorded here.

I ask simply to justify the recent Saint v Woof spat. Saints been banned and Woofs been carded to the point of suspension.

Saint was banned as he refused to "calm down". Do you blame him? Whenever Woof decides to intervene he does so knowing what buttons to press.

Heres one from the sin bin from Red37:

aCe - Yellow Card issued for provocation

And in this case, Woof gets carded and Saint gets suspended.

Even the most blinkered can see this is wrong.

I call for an appeal your honour !

There has been alot of just plain idiotic :censored: going on around here lately.  The anti/pro thing has gotten flat out ridiculous with everyone feeling like they are bashing there heads against a brick wall.

But for Saint to get banned for that was complete :censored:.

I don't know about a board wide justice panel type of thing though.  I've been and still am a mod on a couple of forums, and I think it works well, but when abuse of power occurs it has to be dealt with.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

come on, karhaz mate. people were banging on for ages about wanting an explanation about why people were getting carded or banned and so finally we got the sinbin - which does exactly that. its a bit rich for you to now say its a waste of space.

we don't need a court, because every time someone gets banned a thread is opened up in gen chat in which people bitch about the mods for a day or so before it gets locked. like people keep saying - its just a forum, its just the internet, lets not take it too seriously, eh? otherwise we are going to end up with a court, a board of people, and the possibility of taking things to the european court of forum rights. meanwhile everybody else will be having a life.

for what its worth, i don't think woof has covered himself in glory in this episode and i think that saint's ban is harsh as his behaviour was certainly provoked. but then again he didn't necessarily have to bite the way he did either. at the end of day it was just a pair of old codgers shaking their walking sticks at each other because of something that happened too long ago for either of them to remember.

I got a card the same time as saint  and its not been put up in the sin bin yet but my fear would be that if there was a court more members would end up getting bans.
yes i would love to state my case why i dont think why i should have got a card...but thats what the PM is for, you can ask the mod why they gave you it. i think it should be made clear that you should be able to state your case in that pm and not get more cards  for doing so.

(SHOULD ADD THAT I DID NIT GET MY CARD FOR THE SAME REASON AS SAINT AND WOOF)

who really gives a flying fúck about having a card? a ban is one thing for sure, but what's the point in crying about receiving a little yellow square that is no more than a warning to reel your neck in? it's not as if it changes your posting rights or anything.

Well put it this way, if you are Pro Rafa there not much chance of getting cards unless you are nasty to a member.

If you are not pro Rafa you run the risk of getting cards just for a normal post(well what you might think is a normal post) and defending yourself to other members of the forum....say some that say if they evet meet you they are going to0 give you a kicking.

The usual anti rafa dribble leading to personal insults.

I say keep banning people until they get their act together. This is a pro forum, take that negative :censored: elsewhere. We are headed into a new season and it's boring. Don't want to be hearing that rubbish week in week out when the season starts.
