Jack Robinson, a 16-year-old left back, make his first-team debut against Hull today as a second-half substitute, becoming the youngest player in the history of the club.
“He was really lucky to play,” Benítez said. “The reserve team was away and came back late and we had problems with Fabio Aurélio and Emiliano Insúa. Jack was training with us and was doing well and we thought it could be an option. He is a young player and we are really pleased with him. He was clutching his shirt at the end.”

Never heard of the lad but he'll be delighted to win his first red jersey.
