Finally got around to finishing God of War 3.......awesome.

Currently working my way through Final Fantasy XIII, still very much in the early stages. I've never finishes a JRPG before but I'm determined to finish this.

i had a friend devote 188 hours into it.

i didnt see him for a whole month.

despite all the nice things said about that game, i think there is one MAJOR problem with it.

unless you're a gamer of the most hardcore order, ordinary people shouldnt spend that much time with a video game consisting of three cd's spanning over weeks and weeks of playing the same thing.

in that case i hope you're REALLY determined.

the controls might give you a headache though. they changed it up from the comfortable, tried and tested format of the earlier halos.

Halo Reach Beta is great

Only bad thing is that there are only 2 maps on it at the moment

redid all the cables on teh xbox, worked for like 2 mins then back to the dreaded red ring

Return to MS, I doubt it has anything to do with cables.

Ye old faulty heatsink probably the likeliest cause.

Microsoft are generally good with fixing Xboxes, my bro had one break on him and they just picked it up from the house and sent one back in the same week, they do it for nowt as well because its such a high profile problem

I've been through a few PS3s now btw, so if anyone has the older 'fatter' model I suggest you get it insured

- my warranty ran out 2 weeks before it got FUBAR

and i checked all cables except for the av one, all those different coloured wires confuddled me, will try tonight
