easy...owners, whoever thinks manager right now is insane. We have owners that want to sell ther club therefore aren't going to invest ANYTHING yet people still think manager is priority, unbelievable Jeff

Though I have to echo Bob's sentiments
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

New owners are already on the way. And the way the players behaved today, they believe a new manager might be as well.

Is this question to be taken seriously? Don't think ANY of the fans would prefer the owners over the manager. Getting rid the both of them is another question.

What's all this "I hope to see everyone feels the same" nonsense . This must be another one of those threads which ask you your opinion, but if you go for the wrong option you're either not real or you get banned for being a spammer.

Look, the priority is having a successful team, because it's Liverpool football club, not Rafa Benitez football club. I happen to think it's a possibility for the team to be successful, or relatively so EVEN WITH THESE OWNERS. Equally, I think it's possible for the team to be successful with Rafa as manager, unlikely, but possible.

Anyway, I'm not going to vote as my option isn't available. It's a daft thread though and a thinly veiled attempt to ostracise anybody who is coming to the conclusion that the manager is a busted flush.

Here's a cheeky little scenario for you. Say we bundled Benitez out of the door and appointed Mourinho (I know  know, just run with it for a second, forget about the coat and the shush just for a moment) would that make it more or less likely that some rich benefactor would buy us? Would we be more or less likely to achieve results which were somewhere near our potential? Put like that, there is a case for pullign the trigger even before the owners get paid off.

Another thing, the topic starter said himself that it could take years for the owners to feck off. Are we to assume then that we ought to stick with Benitez for the forseeable? Feck me pass me the razor blade when you've finished with it it will you.

Mick what makes you think we could convince Mourinho in the first place without new owners already in place?

I don't think we could Bav. I think Benitez will still be here next season. My question was a hypothetical one, in response to a daft thread.

If Mourinho was manager, would we be more likely to get bought out, and would we be more likely to get some success?

Put it this way, if Mourinho made it be known that he would take the job (AND I'M NOT SAYING HE IS LIKELY TO) then to my mind, getting rid of Benitez would at that point become considerably higher in priority than getting rid of the owners. The idea that we'd say "No thanks Jose, we don't we like the coat, we're still offended by the memory of the shush, we think your a bit arrogant and all, but the main reason is we'd like to get rid of our owners first and foremost beofre we do anything" just seems unreal to me.

We are in the process of getting rid of the owners, we long since should have been engaged in the process of getting rid of Benitez.

If Rafa walks or gets sacked then yes id like to hope that the higher ups have been busy looking for the best replacement. But I don't think that will be resolved until we are sold. Im not sure how close we are even to being sold... hopefully once the season is over things will start to pick up.

No Brainer.....

a replacement magpie as that poor magpie in the Atletico match couldn't even fly and was stuck out wide all match interfering with play.

Jesus you ask one simple question and with no complications - it was just a straight forward choice and once again it doesn't go down well with the forum guru . Why am I not surprised .
