A class act - creativity, vision and a reasonable goal haul too, generally of the quality variety!

For Rangers (my other team): Super Ally McCoist   :bowdown
All-time top Gers scorer and all round cheeky chappie.

wasnt that jim baxter a rangers player?
wasnt he the fella that took the proverbial out of england in the old home nations competition by doing keepy ups and sitting on the ball in the centre of the wembley pitch between running the game in general
i always thought he was the hero of the rangers fans.

Jim Baxter was a Rangers legend no doubt and did indeed have a cracking game v England in 67 :) , but before my time so I've only seen snippets of him on TV. Have to run with players during my time as a Gers fan. Davie Cooper was also a consideration - if you have never seen him play, well worth a look!

i remember cooper, he was a brilliant winger.

1980's: Dalglish
1990's: Fowler
2000's: Toss up between Carragher - always gives 100% & Gerrard - a lion of a skipper
You can buy all the quality you like, but without desire, passion and the insatiable will to win, it’s nothing.

It has to be Dalglish what a player could turn on a sixpence. And even further back ian callaghan under shanks his work rate over the pitch was exellent and for a midfielder i dont think he was ever booked could be wrong though?

Ronaldo at his best in Barcelona and Zidane in all his career. Those two stand for me as the best ones that I have seen. The level they elevated their play up on was sparkling.

Ronaldo and Zidane.

Kenny has to be No1 but Emlyn Hughes was a great guy, on and off the pitch. Sadly missed:(
